Payment & Shipping

Our packs of seeds are sold in units of 10 seeds per package, however we also sell Bulk Packs that come in packages of 100 seeds. We only ship orders which have been paid for and marked 'processed' in your account. Once shipped this notification will change to 'shipped'. Orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours after the payment has been confirmed and received. Our shipping department prepares and ships parcels every other business day, Monday - Wednesday - Friday! Each stage in the order process will be confirmed by e-mail, so please make sure both your e-mail address and phone number is correct and be aware that our confirmation e-mails may end up in your junk email.

All orders have a mandatory $15 shipping charge, although we do offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $160. All Canadian orders are provided with free CanadaPost package tracking information - usually 24-36 hours after item has been shipped the shipping database will be update and your tracking will be available. For all other countries regular mail shipping implies that the parcel will be dropped of in a public mailbox without a track and trace code or delivery guarantee. Registered mail provides you with tracking and guaranteed delivery. You can contact us via email or live chat to obtain/change any information pertaining to your order/account, to upgrade your shipment to have a tracking #, or to make other shipping arrangements (DHL, UPS, or Purolator).

Payment Options

We offer the following payment options:

  • Credit Card - We accept Visa and Mastercard, but no prepaid cards at this time. Please Note: All orders are processed in CAD. Furthermore, a 10% surcharge is now added to your checkout for Creditcard processed orders (for this reason Canadians now mostly use Interac eTransfers!). In order for your order to process successfully you must use the cardholders shipping information, we do not ship anywhere but to the correct cardholders address. We also do a pre-authorization that helps us now to limit and red flag fraudulent orders, and in some cases your creditcard company/issuing bank will call you to confirm that you indeed made an order placed on CanadianSeedBank, by you, the legitimate cardholder. We will only work with the authorities in fraud cases, where we provide all information collected, including ip, shipping address, and any other vitals, in the hopes of apprehending any fraudsters that try to misuse anothers creditcard and/or their information. It's not fair, you wouldn't like it done to you, please don't do it to another... It's not worth it!


  • Bitcoins - If you are familiar with Bitcoins you know the process, click the bitcoins option on checkout. Simple easy and probably the absolute securiest/ most private/descreet form of payment around.   • Interac eTransfers (Canadian Customers Only) - Login to your major Canadian bank and setup an Interac Email transfer to our email Please put “Canada1″ as your password/answer and your order number as the “Question”. (This can take up to a few hours to receive and we will ship your order the same day), All inquires can be directed to:

  • Send Cash/Money Orders - Payment instructions will be sent to you AFTER you placed your order, or check for our address below.

Also please beware of additional costs charged by your bank for international transfers. BriitishColumbiaSeedBank herself does not have any hidden costs and cannot be held responsible for any additional fees your bank may charge. You will have to inquire with your bank if any additional costs are being charged, and if so, take this into account when you transfer your payment. Thank you kindly.

Please don't forget to include your ORDER number. Without an order number, we are may have difficulty identifying the payment as yours, which leaves us unable to process your payment! Please take notice that all our prices are in Canadian/US. However, we accept most major currencies. Caution: If you send us your payment in your own currency please make sure you use an accurate currency converter in order to send the correctly converted equivalent (we recommend using Payment shortages due to incorrectly converted payments will be deducted accordingly from your order.
